Qualification:
- Mechanical Engineering Degree with minimum 4 years’ experience
- Experienced in Oil & Gas industry, EPC, Process, Piping, layout, and instrumentation departments.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Prepare, compile survey reports, and advise client on feasibility and suggest possible options for achieving safe and successful project execution.
- Maintain project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with project participants, Liaise with client officials for technical clarifications, manpower mobilization plan, and QHSE requirements.
- Assures project execution in the best economical and financial way.
- Identifies and coordinates resources and assigns individual responsibilities within the project team and monitor/guide the project progress, including vendors, sub-contractors and field personnel, engineering, etc.
- Ensure Purchase Requisitions are raised for all manufacturing and assembly components which are required for the project.
- Manages customer expectations relative to the job scope, scope changes, work execution and invoicing
- Prepare and oversee all documentations for client approvals including designs, drawings, procedure, risk assessments, and documents related to QA/QC.
- Emphasizes an exceptional level of professionalism and safety with all internal/external customers
- Oversee the manufacture of equipment required to complete each job.
- Participate in internal/external Project Kick-Off meetings upon award of contract and close out meeting after the completion of the project.
- Review enquiries liaising with clients on technical issues, ensuring the tender/quote submissions largely comply with the RFQ.
- Prepare a full job package to allow execution of the project on securing an order.
- Produce project schedules to incorporate technical considerations, methodically reporting progress and technical issues.
- Monitor contractors’ progress and performance during projects.
- Works with fellow Project engineers to continuously improve both internal and external processes for the development and deployment of engineered solutions
- Flexibility to travel /visit work sites, vendor facilities and attend client meetings.
- Complete utilization of D365 Module functions of Operations (ERP Software)
